Maya Valenciano

A UCLA Graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, Maya has 10+ years of training in acting, singing, and dancing, and has worked in regional theaters across Southern California, including Musical Theater West, Chance Theater, Performance Riverside, and Shakespeare OC. Since graduating, Maya has pursued their passion for teaching performing arts to adolescents, first with Active Learning as a Teaching Artist, now with Huston Performing Arts as an acting teacher and vocal coach, and is currently pursuing a Teaching Credential in Theatre at Cal State Fullerton's Single Subject Credential Program. Maya loves helping young people grow their self confidence, find their unique voice, and bring community into their lives through the power of the performing arts.
